Very effective. The angle, the mystery, the mutilation/amputation suggestion (the human body that dramatically loses its original integrity in front of our very eyes) impliying a dramatic "crisis" in the identity, the cold, the whiteness getting in the 'picture' as a possible suggestion of the void: the Impossible. This is how I see it.
